Injunction to Stop Government Social Media Censorship
So, according to FoxNews, U.S. District Court Judge Terry A. Doughty ordered an injunction on Independence Day to prevent White House officials and federal agencies from meeting with tech companies about social media censorship, arguing past actions likely violated the Constitution.
Gee, imagine that! The Biden administration, and indeed the feds for a long time, have been pressuring and telling social media companies to censor certain topics. Of course, no one really denies this. Indeed, agencies have been named and filled with employees to do just that! Violate our First Amendment rights.
Naturally, government has appealed. Very interested to see those arguments. Pray the judge holds strong, and that later appeals also side with the Constitution. Pray, folks.
